Zac Brown Band rocked the stage when they sang "The Devil Went Down to Georgia!" I thought Taylor Swift's performances were not that great. It felt like she was trying too hard

Zac Brown band performance was the highlight of the evening...They are amazingly talented performers. I was very disappointed that many deserving artists were passed over for nominations, performances, etc. Vocal Group of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, in my opinion, went to the wrong nominees. Carrie & Brad did a great job hosting...excellent!

Yes, the Taylor Swift nominations and wins as Female Vocalist of the Year was a joke. She talk sings children's songs and instead of bringing kids to country music, she is ruining country music. She should be on the Disney channel with Miley Cyrus. She may be good at marketing and running a business with others help but as a singer - please! She is definitely not a Carrie Underwood, Reba, Jennifer Nettles. She is a child singing children songs for the teenagers and younger. I cannot believe Entertainer of the Year unless it was to be in the children's category. If Kellie Pickler got only half of the help from her management and record label, she would even out sell this child.

yes, ETOY should have pd more dues. Love Taylor but too young to achieve a great award like ET . People have been years of entertaining and concerts before they achieve the award of Entainer of the Year. This voting for by f an should go away and not have any of the awards voted on by fans. But the labels should also stay out of the politics of the awards shows also. Tim McGraw for one has pd his dues, put people to work, gave people jobs. Kenny Chesney would have never been heard of if not for Tim. He gave him songs, he took him as opening acts so Kenny could earn a paycheck. Also Big and Rich, it goes on and on. Faith Hill has done many thing but she has not won ET. So I think Nashville needs to take another look and start over to really have some great talent come out of the awards shows.

yes I do... What happened to country music?? How could the Country Music industry ignore Alan Jackson? Where was he? Why wasn't he nominated... How and why on earth did Taylor win ETOY. Don't get me wrong, she's cute and spunky... and a good songwriter for a kid, but she is DEFINITELY not country. Her music is POP at best. Considering the year George Strait had, and forget that he is the King of Country music, I was very disappointed that he got shut out! Especially for ETOY. The powers that be really missed the mark on this one.

Why wasn't Jason Aldean nominated for any awards? Who decides who is nominated? Why are there only 4 choices for entertainer of the year? the sketches with Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley were mildly entertaining.

Why was the show all about Ms. Taylor Swift? I don't think she deserved to sing twice. That's too much support for one person. I don't believe in " We need to focus on this group of people." We need to focus on true country singers.

Why do the entertainers have to perform the songs we've heard a million times already. Why not try some new songs.

Was so excited to finally have Tim perform. That’s what made me watch it. But enjoyed the rest, glad to know it’s not all about the youngest generation performing. Bring back Tim, Faith, Alan, George and so many others that got us hooked on country

Very well put together. Loved the entertainment. Loved the jokes about Kanye West. It's refreshing to see recipients not drunk or drugged out when they're up at the podium accepting their awards.

Very disappointed in the results. I'm so sad that the talented artists did not win and the artist, Taylor Swift, who cannot carry a tune won almost every category. I am going to boycott the CMA's now.... I can't believe that they were persuaded and whatever else it took, to vote for Taylor Swift. The only talent she has is she is a good song writer.

Use of "rock/pop" artists not appropriate. Singers should remain on stage, where they can "sing their best!"

And as if that weren't bad enough, that same undeserving person was given the biggest award of the night!! WTF??!!!! Have you people totally lost your minds?????

Toby Keith is overlooked every year and I think that is so not right. The man is talented in every aspect of the music business and he gets overlooked in the award shows. Amazing! As far as Taylor Swift winning her awards. More power to her! She has done the country music business a world of good and at the age of 19 that is outstanding! It took the others years to do what she has done in her short time on the music scene.

Tim McGraw was the best!!!!! As much as I love Taylor and think she deserved all her wins, she DID NOT deserve 2 performance slots. Would rather have seen some other artist.

ticket prices are far, far too high. Also, making into a 'fan' event, as opposed to an industry event, takes away the 'community' feel it had in the 60's, 70's, 80's. You knew everyone in those days...and had more of a one-on-one contact with the nominees and winners.

Thought somebody with more personality than Carrie Underwood would be good. She has a great voice, but lacks "charisma." I think Jennifer Nettles or Miranda Lambert would be better. I loved Brad Paisley, though. He's quick witted and thinks on his feet.

Thought having Taylor Swift perform two songs was painful to the audience and the fact that she won Entertainer of the Year was wrong. She can't sing! Also even though I love Sugarland I don't see how they qualify as a duo when one member rarely sings. Heck during their performance on the awards he didn't even have a microphone.

Thought Carrie Underwood should have gotten Female Vocalist. I was happy Lady A got Group and Darius Rucker got New Artist. Both were very deserving. I enjoyed performances by Lady A, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood and Reba.

This was the best CMA show I have seen in years. I don't see how anyone could possibly consider ever moving the show from Nashville again based on this past performance. The sound quality alone far surpassed ANY past show---much less the production! It was a wonderful event to showcase country music, the entertainers, and Nashville in general. Great job, everyone!

They needed to leave out the NON COUNTRY artists!! It's called a COUNTRY MUSIC Award show!! There were SO many COUNTRY artists left OUT that could have performed. And WHY did Taylor (awfully) perform TWO songs???

There were a few things I didn't like. I thought Taylor Swift's first song was totally out of character for her...didn't like it. I think Kid Rock needs to go back to wherever he came from...he ain't country and never will be. Brad and Carrie were wonderful as hosts.

The Taylor Swift Show...That should be your new name for the CMA's. I was so very disappointed in the CMA that night that I could have cried. I have watched my last award show.. Thanks for the past years but country music is no longer country music.

The Taylor Swift Show was a bit too pop for my taste, not that I am not into 'pop country' (contemporary country), no country entertainer should be given 2 productiion numbers! and the opening of the show should at least be as country as it gets! I know that Taylor is a hugh bubble gum draw, but of those two numbers at least one of them, if not both, should have gone to country artist who can sing. For the first time in my memory the Female vocalist of the year went to a performer who can entertain, but not sing a lick. Heck Larry the Cable Guy sings better than Taylor, and his material is just as original and bad! :-) The award should be renamed or awarded to a vocalist!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

The show was great - I think that a lot of some ones were duped to think that Taylor Swift, however talented a performer, has a better VOICE than any of the other nominees. That one mis-placed award tainted the entire show for me.

The show should not have any rock artists on it since it is the Country Music Awards, and should also show all of the awards including Video of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year.

The right people won, in my humble opinion.

The only thing I didn't like was the overt sexuality of Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift's performances.

The live sound is always bad. The music is too loud compared to the singers...you can't hear them as well as you should. It may sound good in the Sommet but it doesn't transcend through tv as well.

The country awards seemed to have been taken over by pop music, pop artists and the "new country" often referred to as nashville Pop. being a long time country music fan I am disappointed in where the path is leading country music and country music awards shows.

Taylor Swift cannot sing, Her performances were embarrassing to watch. The kind of embarrassing that you don't want to look at them because you are embarrassed for them. Keith Urban was phenomenal, but he has one of the few voices that is really beautiful live. The voting was a disgrace to country music and what I always thought was the most important thing to my favorite music genre. NAMELY TRUE TALENT!!!! The early awards were good and held promise, Brad Paisley is close to as good as Keith Urban and I think has more pull with the big wigs, so that wasn't to bad, then the whole thing crashed and burned. What disappoints me the most is that the people who nominate and the ones who vote, especially know true talent. They let themselves and all of us down terribly!

Sugarland's performance was the best of the night.

Sugarland was great. They should play their song, "Keep you" on radio. I havent heard it on radio yet. That is a travesty because this song is amazing.

Sound during several performances was off slightly. Song choice by Zac Brown Band was horrible, don't do a cover when debuting your music/band on national TV.

Show was good - good performances. Taylor Swift did not need to perform twice and she should not have won best female vocal - although a good writer of teenage pop songs she cannot carry a tune and doesn't compare to the ladies she was up against. Her performance belonged on the MTV awards, not CMA's. Please don't the CMA's into another MTV awards, AMA's, etc. which are barely watchable anymore. Your audience is not made up of a bunch of teenagers.

Not the biggest fan of Taylor Swift and felt the show was all about her. Why did she have 2 numbers, when others only had one and they even shared them with others.

Again, my biased opinion as I am a huge Keith Urban fan, but I truly believe that he should have won ETOY...I don't know of any other artist that puts their heart and soul completely into their performances the way Keith does, and he tours all over the world, entertaining people from all different walks of life, not just the teeny-boppers. Having said that, I believe Taylor has worked hard this year and has been involved in a lot of different things including acting, however, I truly do not believe that she should have been named ETOY...I believe this should be an award given to someone with not only a wide range of talents, but who also is able to entertain across a wide span of ages and genders. Keith does this in spades. I also believe that Carrie or Miranda should have won for Female Vocalist of the Year, as I don't believe Taylor's voice is developed to a point any where near either one of those women. That's all I've got.

My husband and I were disappointed in the outfit that Carrie Underwood wore along with the dancers. Guess we are stuck in the olden days when the female artists wore conservative clothes and it was about their ability to perform more than skimpy outfits. Brad and Carrie did a great job hosting just wish we could get the pop out of country and give us back Waylon, George, Johnny, Tammy, Loretta. Jamey Johnson is pretty close and we love that about him.

Musical acts were great this time. All were killer.
