| The 2nd Annual ACM Honors event was held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tenn. Hosted by country superstar Lee Ann Womack. The event honored this year's Special Award recipients: Merle Haggard, Harlan Howard, Dolly Parton, & many more. Wonder how an artist preps for these events? Well, Lee Ann Womack included some videos (on the right) of her getting ready with makeup & choosing what to wear for the Ceremony. Kellie Pickler makes a statement of appreciation in Lee Ann's sense of style...join Lee Ann behind the scenes & on the stage during the show. Womack performed as well as Vince Gill, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jim Lauderdale, Patty Loveless, just to name a few. The aforementioned performers honored those who received the 'Special Award' this year...Miranda according to James Otto's twitter quote: did a tribute to Merle and absolutely slayed it.
