International Entertainment Buyers Association announced the first round of artists and power executives confirmed to participate in the 42nd annual conference of the live entertainment organization, set for October 7-9 in downtown Nashville.
Paula Abdul, who’ll receive the IEBA Career Achievement Award, will participate in a power-packed panel discussion, How Reality TV Has Affected the Music Industry. The panel also includes American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle, Dick Clark Productions’ Barry Adelman, and RPM Management’s Scott Siman. Moderated by renowned entertainment journalist Fred Bronson.
Hollywood power broker WME Co-CEO Patrick Whitesell will sit down with Billboard Editorial Director Bill Werde for an intimate discussion about the entertainment industry from his perspective.Attendees will enjoy the widest array of showcases ever presented from all genres of live entertainment. Some of the acts performing include:The Guess Who, Imperial Acrobats of China, America’s Got Talent’s Zuma Zuma, World Champion of Magic Jason Latimer, Dance Y’All, Jason D. Williams and Rocker’s Collective, and many more to be announced.
Major agency showcases are always the highlight, and this year is no exception. With seven major agencies throwing parties at IEBA, here’s a few of the outstanding artists that will perform, with more announced soon. BLA’s party on October 8 will feature performances by Steve Holy, Rachel Farley, Parmalee and Florida Georgia Line. CAA will showcase Joe Nichols, Aaron Lewis, Sarah Darling and DJ DU earlier that day.
