As Jake Owen prepares to launch his first headlining tour, CMT ON TOUR JAKE OWEN: THE SUMMER NEVER ENDS 2012, next Wednesday in New York City, fans are already keeping a summer groove going with the success of Jake’s new Endless Summer EP, with first-week sales earning the EP the week’s top country debut, impressively landing at #2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
Available digitally and at most retailers, the release caught fire with Jake’s online fans, becoming the week’s #1 best-selling digital country album and #9 overall among Nielsen SoundScan’s Digital Albums.
Produced by Joey Moi and executive produced by Owen, the EP includes four feel-good tracks capturing the laidback spirit of the summer season, including “Summer Jam” (featuring Florida Georgia Line), “Pass a Beer,” “Surefire Feeling,” and Jake’s first cover song, a recording of Ben Harper’s “Steal My Kisses.”
