 Tonight the telethon event of "Stand Up to Cancer" will air & include Taylor Swift & Tim McGraw.
Taylor is set to debut a new song dedicated to this cause. The Associated Press has said the song was written by the songstress from reading a blog by Maya Thompson, a mother of 3-year-old Ronana who died of his fight with cancer. Maya was also credited on the song as a co-writer.
The song will be available on iTunes after the telethon with all of the proceeds going to cancer-related charities.
Airing tonight at 8pm ET/PT, the following networks will simultaneously donate one hour of their primetime for the fundraiser to air: ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, BIO, E!, ENCORE, HBO, HBO Latino, ION Television, LMN (Lifetime Movie Network), Logo, MLB Network, mun2, Palladia, SHOWTIME, Smithsonian Channel, STARZ, STYLE, TBS and VH1.
