|Time Inc.’s Southern Living and Warner Music Nashville joined forces on a multi-platform partnership to celebrate the launch of Sheryl Crow’s new album, “FEELS LIKE HOME,” available September 10th on Warner Bros. Records.
Southern Living is co-hosting the album release party at Sheryl’s farm in Nashville on Thursday, September 5th. The event is closed to the public, but fans can view it via live stream on southernliving.com.
Consumers can view exclusive videos and photos from the performance and enter for a chance to win autographed CDs on SouthernLiving.com. In addition, Southern Living will feature Sheryl in its popular “Paper Napkin Interview,” a monthly Q&A with a well-known Southerner, in its October issue, on newsstands September 20th.
“I'm thrilled to celebrate such an inspiring artist on such an iconic label with a rich, multimedia experience for our consumers," said Southern Living Editor-in-Chief Lindsay Bierman.
In perfect synergy, Southern Living built its Idea Home on the property of Fontanel, Barbara Mandrell’s former estate in Nashville, the city Sheryl now calls home. The home is open to the public for tours and a portion of the proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Sheryl has created a virtual tour of the Idea House as a backdrop to tell the stories behind her songs and allow fans to stream many of the tracks leading up to the release date. Fans are encouraged to tag their song-inspired images with #feelslikehome and see them populate the picture frames all over the virtual Idea House.
Fans who join Sheryl’s official email list can stream Sheryl’s entire record from Friday, September 6th until Monday, September 9th in anticipation for the North American release of "FEELS LIKE HOME" on www.Sherylcrow.com/listen
